Fun and patriotic 4th of July Rice Krispie Treats made in a flag pattern using red, white, and blue layers. A perfect no-bake dessert for summer parties.

1 Large Box of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Cereal

2 16 oz. Bags of Mini Marshmallows

2 Sticks of Butter (Salted Sweet Cream)

Wilton Color Right Food Coloring – Red, Blue, Pink

Instructions

1. Make three batches of Rice Krispie Treat mixture in red, white, and blue.

2. Use 5 tbsp butter, 5 cups marshmallows, and 5 cups cereal for red and white batches.

3. Use 3 tbsp butter, 3 cups marshmallows, and 3 cups cereal for the blue batch.

4. Press red and white mixtures into thin layers on cookie sheets and let cool.

5. Cut each into 3 strips. Layer two red and two white strips alternately.

6. Cut remaining red and white pieces in half. Stack red/white/red for the right side of the flag.

7. Shape the blue mixture into the top-left corner using buttered hands.

8. Let the full flag set, then cut into squares with a hot knife.

9. Trim edges for clean presentation.

Notes

Let each layer cool before cutting.

Use a hot knife for sharp edges.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
